The EVC-1181S-PIW is a high-performance 18-inch passive subwoofer designed to complement EVC full-range loudspeakers, including 8-, 12-, and 15-inch models. Its white, weather-resistant enclosure provides reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor installations. Engineered with a single high-output 18" low-frequency transducer and a 2.5-inch voice coil, the EVC-1181S-PIW delivers powerful, clear bass with a recommended frequency range of 30 Hz to 135 Hz, ideal for music, speech, and live events.

Constructed from 15-mm plywood with an EVCoat finish, the enclosure is built for durability and long-term reliability. The subwoofer includes multiple M10 rigging points for flexible floor or suspended installation and a gland-nut input cover for weather protection. It accepts wire gauges up to 10 AWG and can accommodate Euroblock or NL4 connectors for versatile system integration. For 70V/100V distributed systems, an optional TK150 transformer with Automatic Saturation Compensation preserves low-frequency performance even when driving multiple subwoofers in parallel.

The EVC-1181S-PIW does not include an internal passive crossover, requiring a suitable active low-pass filter and 4th-order high-pass filter for proper operation. This design allows precise system tuning to match EVC full-range loudspeakers, ensuring consistent, high-quality sound. With a maximum SPL of 129 dB and 350W continuous power handling, the EVC-1181S-PIW is an ideal solution for professional fixed installations, commercial venues, and performance environments requiring deep, controlled bass.
