Constructed of 11 gauge steel, the Whirlwind FP-2 permits flush installation for safe, reliable connections. Each unit incorporates a black carpet trim ring with a beveled edge.

Cable-clearance slots in the doors allow them to close over cables when in use.

Interchangeable end panels are supplied with the FP-2. One is solid metal which allows the user to punch or drill it to their own individual specifications. The other is pre-punched to accept four Whirlwind XLR or TRS jacks. The FP-2 provides panels on both ends.

The bottom plates are also removable to facilitate additional hole punching and connector mounting. Any or all of these may be ordered custom punched and/or loaded by Whirlwind.
