Constructed of 11 gauge steel, the Whirlwind FP-1 permits flush installation for safe, reliable connections. Each unit incorporates a black carpet trim ring with a beveled edge.

Cable-clearance slots in the doors allow them to close over cables when in use.

Interchangeable end panels are supplied with the FP-1. One is solid metal which allows the user to punch or drill it to their own individual specifications. The other is pre-punched to accept four Whirlwind XLR or TRS jacks. The FP-1 has one interchangeable panel on one end.

The bottom plates are also removable to facilitate additional hole punching and connector mounting. Any or all of these may be ordered custom punched and/or loaded by Whirlwind.
