The MUSICASS6 speaker selector is the ideal accessory for any home owner using a distributed audio system. This low profile accessory can be easily mounted on a shelf, in a closet, or any other convenient location.
The unit features automatic impedance matching ensuring that all speakers in the system, whether 8Ω, 16Ω, or 4Ω, can function with the unit as well as push button power On and Off capability.
The unit allows the user to control up to six separate speaker pairs by selecting them to be On or Off and will accomodate any combination of 8 and/or 16 ohm loudspeakers. Perfect for sending your audio source to the garage or patio without having to have additional electronics in each location. Each speaker pair output is capable of handling up to 40 watts of RMS power from the amplifier. It also features a switch for safe connection of 4 ohm loudspeakers, and includes separate on/off controls for each loudspeaker pair and on A-B source selector switch for overall system control.
The MUSICASS6 includes an impedance protection circuit that operates in pairs, allowing each set of loudspeakers to operate directly and simultaneously from the amplifier for maximum efficiency. The left and right channels are completely isolated for protected operation. It can be shelf or 19” rack mounted with supplied brackets. MUSICASS6 features screw tight type terminals that will facilitate 12 to 24 gage wire, push button on/off controls for each connection, and attractive mar-resistant black finish.
