Sound Masking Office System with 12 SM810A Speakers and Lowell Sound Masking Generator is perfect for use in stand-alone applications (for sound masking or sound masking with music/paging), or to interface with existing music/paging systems). The pink noise signal (equal energy/octave) is fed to speakers to produce the characteristic windy sound that masks ambient noise.

A sound masking system helps provide greater conversational privacy and productivity in the workplace by adding specially shaped ambient noise to an open-office environment. Sound masking speakers are typically positioned above the finished lay-in tile ceiling in plenum space; however, models with a white finish are sometimes specified for use in open-architecture truss-type ceilings.
