The Pure Resonance Audio C8 8" 2-way high-performance in-ceiling loudspeaker features a sleek, flush-mount design that blends naturally into any décor. This 70-volt ceiling speaker provides excellent background and foreground music, high-level paging, or announcements. With a front-accessible built-in 70V transformer and an 8-ohm bypass, the C8 offers optimal flexibility, perfect for offices, retail stores, restaurants, classrooms, conference rooms, and other commercial environments.
Full-Range Powerful Sound
The C8 contains an 8" paper cone woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter for maximum efficiency with focused dispersion and excellent low-frequency extension. A 94dB sensitivity and 60-watt power handling capability maintain superb performance in demanding commercial audio applications. With a broad 55Hz - 20kHz frequency range, this 70V in-ceiling speaker delivers superior vocal intelligibility and full-range uncolored music reproduction. The C8 employs high-quality materials featuring an ABS enclosure with an iron backcan and a power-coated iron mesh grill for lasting durability.
Easy Installation and Adjustments
The C8’s removable bezel-less magnetic grill allows easy access to the front-mounted tap setting switch for effortless adjustment. The easy installation support system facilitates time-saving and hassle-free integration. Simply push the speaker into the ceiling cutout, and the spring-loaded supports will lock and hold the speaker into place, freeing both hands to complete the installation. The available tile bridge should be used for additional support when mounting in drop tile ceilings (sold separately).
