The Pure Resonance Audio DA2240 is a compact, simple-to-use dual-impedance 2-channel audio amplifier with a powerful 240 Watts per channel. This rack mount power amplifier adopts a professional high-performance Class-D amplifying circuit and a built-in high-efficiency selectable impedance power supply. With low power loss and heat output, the DA2240 can drive longer and louder.
Dual-Impedance
Unique among audio power amplifiers, each channel has a 4-16 ohms and 70-volt output terminal switch independent of the other channel. Allowing one channel to service a high-impedance (70V) distributed audio system while the other channel can power low-impedance (4-16Ω) speakers. This exclusive function provides contractors with extreme versatility and reduces the number of amplifiers required. Housed in a rugged and lightweight 1U standard 19-inch industrial chassis design, this rack mount audio amplifier is built for installed sound applications.
Reliable Performance
The reasonable heat dissipation layout with automatic cooling fans enables the DA2240 to maintain a working temperature lower than 55 degrees assuring reliable, stable operation even under heavy loads, greatly extending the service life of the equipment. This commercial audio power amplifier also provides comprehensive protection circuitry, including overload, overheating, and short-circuit protection. The intuitive front panel for quick, easy configuration features two volume knobs and indicator lights for peak clipping, protection, signal, and power supply. Both channels have balanced inputs and outputs with detachable Euroblock terminals. The DA2240 offers a cost-effective solution ideal for commercial installations.
