Rane HC6S 6 Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier (Discontinued)

The Rane HC6S 6 Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier is one of the most indispensable headphone amplifiers on the market today. It features six stereo headphone amplifiers with individual volume controls and dual headphone outputs; one on the front and one in the rear. In addition, each amplifier maintains an unbalanced stereo input for individual audio sourcing with the option to convert them to mono balanced Inputs through internal jumpers.

The HC6S is capable of delivering up to 500 milliwatts into headphones with rated impedances between 32-600 Ω. The amount of power depends on the exact impedance of each headphone along with the number of headphones connected to the unit. Under most conditions, the HC6S produces sound pressure levels in excess of 120 dB, more than adequate for most listeners.
