The Tascam CD-A580 V2 plays audio from cassette, CD, or USB flash media, and also allows recording to both cassette and USB. Cassette tapes can be conveniently archived as MP3 files to a connected USB drive.

This multi-function unit combines a cassette deck, CD player, and USB flash drive recorder/player into one 3U rack-mountable chassis—ideal for professional installations and commercial applications. In addition to playback support for the most widely used formats, it enables simple cassette-to-USB dubbing for efficient archival and media transfer.

Cassette Deck:

• One-way IC logic transport control enables recording and playback
• Dub from CD and USB flash drive, or record from LINE inputs
• +/-10% pitch control
• Supported cassette tape types:
• Playback: Normal (TYPE I), Chrome (TYPE II), Metal (TYPE IV)
• Recording: Normal (TYPE I), Chrome (TYPE II)
