This medium to large Tannoy retail store sound system is ideal when you need background music that will add to your customers’ shopping experience and keep them returning. This system is ideal for small to medium coverage areas and can be easily expanded for further coverage and control over separate zones and paging.
The Tannoy CVS 6 is a 6" (150 mm) ceiling speaker supplied with an integral zinc-plated steel back can. The recessed termination box allows the use of a removable locking connector with screw terminals for secure wire termination and "loop through" facility. Strain relief is provided by a clamping mechanism for use with plenum rated cable or conduit. The drive unit itself is mounted in a vented, injection molded, paintable front baffle manufactured from UV / weather resistant UL94 V-0 ABS material. An integral low insertion loss 60W line transformer uses an easily accessible front baffle mounted rotary tapping switch to select between low impedance and 70V or 100V operation.

The amplifier can drive 8 ohm and 4 ohm loads and can be used with 70V and 100V distributed audio systems without the need for a separate transformer. In addition to balanced mic/line inputs, unbalanced RCA inputs and speaker connections, all units include RJ45 connectors for use with JBL CSR-V in-wall volume controls. This model features a universal power supply which enables the ability to accept AC voltages from 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60Hz.
The JBL CSR-V offers source selection and/or volume control from an elegant user interface. The JBL Commercial® CSR series remote control can use analog DC voltage to provide logic control ranging from source selection and volume. The CSR-V remote control allows you to remotely select the source and/or control the volume on the CSM mixer. The CSR-V can be placed up to 1000 ft (305 m) from the mixer and is wired with Cat 5 cable with universally accepted RJ-45 connectors. Using CSR-V remote control with your CSM mixer, you can remotely control the volume of the source selected by the mixer. Available in black or white.
