The Sennheiser EW 172 G3 Ear4 CC Wireless Instrument System with Ear Worn Microphone is an instrument set with cable emulator for individual sound adjustment and the Ear Worn Microphone is designed for stage and broadcast use and ensures optimum sound and hands-free freedom of movement.
The system’s new cable emulator feature allows you adjust virtual cable lengths to get sound response just like a cable. Another great new feature for guitarists is the built-in guitar tuner, right on the display. A built in 5 band EQ allows you to fine tune your sound even further. Bass players in particular will be pleased with the enhanced AF frequency response: it starts at a thundering 25 Hz, which will especially please players with 5 string bass guitars.
With its improved design and new features, this rugged G3 rack receiver is ready for the road with its proven transmission reliability and inspiring flexibility. The sound check mode allows you to check the audio and RF signal at any time during setup. 20 frequency banks with 12 preset frequencies each, plus a user-programmable bank mean you can easily run multiple channels of G3 wireless simultaneously.
The wireless body-pack standard gets even better. Sennheiser has packed many useful features in the 158g weight of the SK 100 G3. The SK 100 G3 has an easy-to-read graphic display, infrared sync, charging contacts, cable emulation, RF mute, an intuitive menu and much more. As features alone are no substitute for audio quality, the AF frequency response was expanded to 25-18,000 Hz for the truest sound.
The Ear Set 4 is based on the HSP 4 headmic and features powerful sound, excellent speech intelligibility and a very good suppression of ambient noise. It has superior feedback rejection and a high maximum sound pressure level.
The ear bow and mic boom can be easily adapted to the shape of the ear and face. The Ear Set is available with LEMO or 3.5 mm jack plugs for use with the 2000, 3000 and 5000 Series as well as evolution wireless bodypacks.
