Shure ADX2/B87A Wireless Microphone Transmitter with Beta 87A Capsule
The ADX2/B87A is a handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with Shure axient digital wireless systems. It features a durable, moisture-resistant, lightweight metal case in a black finish, along with wide tuning up to 184 MHz, interference protection, advanced rechargeability, and ShowLink remote control for real-time parameter adjustments from the booth.
It features the Beta 87A cartridge and supports Diversity ShowLink for remote transmitter control and automatic interference avoidance. Two transmission modes, Standard for optimal coverage and High Density for maximum system channel count and robust coverage, provide flexible operation, while encryption-enabled secure transmission helps protect wireless communications.
The transmitter offers up to 9 hours of runtime with the SB920A rechargeable battery and includes two SB920A rechargeable batteries. External contacts support docked charging with an optional fully covered radome. Available frequency bands include G57 (470 - 616 MHz), K54 (606 - 663 MHz), and X55 (941 - 960 MHz). When purchasing separate wireless components, frequency bands should be matched to ensure proper system operation.
