The Shure KSM11 cardioid condenser vocal microphone is designed for live performance, event recording, and premium streaming. It features a 3/4-inch gold diaphragm, exceptional off-axis rejection, an advanced suspended isolation system, and a hardened steel grille with three-stage plosive-reduction filtering for clear, focused vocal reproduction.
The KSM11 Vocal Microphone delivers a prized combination of full lows, clear mids, and high-end detail without the need for extensive EQ. A cardioid condenser designed specifically for live performance, live event recording, and premium streaming, the KSM11 presents vocals with exceptional clarity.
As touring stage technology has continued to evolve, the KSM11 Cardioid Condenser Microphone was developed to take advantage of increases in digital audio linearity and fidelity. Its premium cardioid condenser capsule delivers an elegant balance of full low end, rich midrange, essential high-end detail, and exceptional off-axis rejection. Professional engineers have a clear, natural presentation of vocal performance to build their mixes around, EQing by choice rather than necessity.
The KSM11 is available as a black handheld XLR microphone and as a wireless microphone capsule in black or nickel finishes for compatible Shure handheld wireless transmitters, including Axient Digital and ULX-D systems.
The proprietary condenser capsule utilizes a 3/4-inch gold diaphragm and premium electronics for exceptional dynamic range. Its highly consistent, deep cardioid polar pattern reduces off-axis phase distortion for focused vocal reproduction. A streamlined design creates a smaller, lighter capsule footprint compared with typical wireless capsules, while an advanced suspended isolation system minimizes handling noise. The dent-resistant hardened-steel grille features three-stage plosive-reduction pop filtering for consistent, artifact-free vocals.
