SoundTube IPD-RS82-EZ 8" Dante Open-Ceiling Pendant Speaker
The IPD-RS82-EZ 8 inch open ceiling speaker is a Dante®-addressable coaxial pendant speaker that incorporates an 8 inch (203 mm) coaxial driver with BroadBeam Ring™ technology for consistently smooth high frequency. Low latency digital audio, power, and control are delivered to the speaker via standard category cable; connection is made on the other end to the STNet-Switch or other PoE / PoE+ switch. The IPD-RS82-EZ may also be powered via a 24V DC barrel connector for non-PoE installations.
Configuration and zoning of the speaker are accomplished via software, and it includes hanging hardware with galvanized steel cables and a hanging bracket for fast, easy and secure installation. This unit may be hung or mounted direct-to-conduit via a locking cover plate. The enclosure is constructed of injection molded ABS with glasber reinforcement for lasting durability in indoor or outdoor applications. It also features an aluminum grille with protective powder coated finish and ships in an eco-friendly, recyclable packaging.
UL 1480 UEAY and UL 2239 planned. Included accessories: hanging hardware, weather plug, cover plate, AC-RSEZ-HH-10, and AC-RSEZ-HH-10.
