TOA M-61F Balanced Microphone Preamplifier Input Module
The M-61F is a professional balanced microphone preamplifier input module designed to expand the capabilities of TOA 900 Series modular amplifiers and other compatible TOA audio systems. Equipped with a transformer-balanced female XLR microphone input, the module provides low-noise, high-quality signal amplification for dynamic and condenser microphones, making it an excellent choice for paging, speech reinforcement, conferencing, houses of worship, schools, and commercial sound installations.
An integrated +22V DC phantom power supply supports condenser microphones, while the built-in compressor helps prevent overload and distortion by automatically controlling excessive input levels. The compressor features a fixed 2:1 compression ratio and an adjustable threshold, allowing installers to optimize system performance for a wide variety of microphone types and speaking levels.
For additional audio shaping, the M-61F includes selectable high-cut and low-cut filters that improve speech intelligibility and reduce unwanted low-frequency rumble or excessive high-frequency content.
