TOA M-61S Balanced Microphone Preamplifier Input Module
The M-61S is a professional balanced microphone preamplifier input module designed to expand the functionality of TOA 900 Series modular amplifiers and other compatible TOA audio systems. Featuring a transformer-balanced microphone input with a removable terminal block connector, the module provides clean, low-noise signal amplification while offering a secure, installer-friendly wiring solution for permanent commercial audio installations.
Built-in +22V DC phantom power allows the M-61S to support condenser microphones without requiring external power supplies, while the integrated compressor automatically controls excessive input levels to reduce overload and distortion. With a fixed 2:1 compression ratio and an adjustable threshold control, the module helps maintain consistent microphone levels for paging, announcements, presentations, and speech reinforcement.
