Bose has released its very first commercial pendant ceiling speaker in its line of FreeSpace FS Loudspeakers.
The Bose FreeSpace FS2P hanging pendant ceiling speaker features a full-range 2.25" cone transducer, low-frequency range down to 85 Hz, 16-ohm and 70/100 V operation. The FS2P is designed for high-quality performance in background music and voice announcement in open ceilings, raked ceilings, and other architectures where hanging pendant speakers are desired. This Bose pendant is also UL1480 ULC-S541 Life Safety Fire Alarm and Signaling listed.
This impressive pendant speaker is built for rooms with open architecture, vaulted, high or open truss and raked ceilings. While these types of spaces are beautiful, industrial and spacious, they also require specifically designed speakers. The Bose FreeSpace FS2P hanging pendant ceiling speaker ensures sound reproduction and coverage of the highest quality in challenging spaces such as gyms, restaurants, hospitality spaces, retail stores, open office environments, shopping centers, warehouses, museums, ski lodges, airports, railway stations, or any high ceiling or exposed ceiling application.
Also featured in the line of Bose FreeSpace FS Loudspeakers are the Bose FreeSpace FS2SE Surface-Mount Loudspeaker and the Bose FreeSpace FS4CE Ceiling Loudspeaker.
The FreeSpace FS2SE Surface-Mount Loudspeaker can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications and features a full-range 2.25" cone transducer, low-frequency range down to 85 Hz, 16-ohm and 70/100V operation. Audio connections are terminated with a detachable Euroblock connector, and the FS2SE is iP55 rated for outdoor installation.
The Bose FreeSpace FS4CE commercial ceiling-mount speaker features a full-range 4.5" cone transducer, low-frequency range down to 70 Hz, 8-ohm and 70/100V operation and can be used for indoor and outdoor applications. The FS4CE is rated iP55 rated for outdoor installation (suitable for use outdoors in wet locations), highly UV fade resistant and includes weather-resistant input cover.
Both of these loudspeakers are ideal for retail stores, restaurants, bars, concourses, transportation facilities, resorts, and hospitality venues.
