Conference room AV systems must be designed with the application and user in mind. The sound reinforcement system is a means to control the volume of speech or music and distribute the sound so it can be heard intelligibly by seated listeners. In conference rooms, this is typically a simple system that supports audio and video playback.

Our AV Flex System can be customized for your specific needs, room size and budget. Conference rooms typically vary in size, a medium to large room is roughly 300 sq ft (30 sq m or 15 x 20 ft) and generally can accommodate approximately 4 to 12 meeting participants.

The core building blocks of a conference room system are the mixer amplifier, speakers, table or ceiling boundary microphones, podium microphone and/or wireless microphones for the presenter or for pass-around participants.

Keep in mind the source devices that will be used in your system (computer, tablet, DVD player, smartphone or phone system) and think of each device’s inputs and outputs. What size is your room? What system functions and accessories do you need?

Start with Your Speakers

This system comes with 4 white Yamaha VXC4 4" in-ceiling speakers with the option to add 2 more for a larger space. These speakers deliver quintessential Yamaha sound quality, they have also been carefully designed for safe and easy installation.

Add more coverage and surround sound with left and right speakers mounted in the front of the room for presentations and video conferencing with the Yamaha VS4 4" or VS6 6" surface mount speakers.

Choose Your Mixer Amplifier

Choose from 3 different amplifiers to power your custom sound system. The JBL CSMA 180 is a 4-channel mixer/amplifier, a professional tool with a sleek industrial look that is designed and built for commercial sound applications. A clean front panel featuring only volume controls surrounded by an illuminated ring for each channel offer you an easy-to-use professional tool with uncompromised performance, easy to see in darkened environments. The amplifier can drive 8 ohm and 4-ohm loads and can be used with 70V and 100V distributed audio systems without the need for a separate transformer. In addition to balanced mic/line inputs, unbalanced RCA inputs and speaker connections, all units include RJ45 connectors for use with JBL CSR-V in-wall volume controls.

The Yamaha PA2030 2-channel compact power amplifier features an interface that has been specifically designed for effortless operation. A layout that gives priority to the frequently used output volume knob while other controls are visually subdued, for example, significantly enhances control efficiency in normal day-to-day operation. And there’s no need for computers or complex programming procedures for installation or operation. After a quick, easy setup procedure that requires no special knowledge or skill, the system is ready to deliver outstanding sound. The PA2030 can easily power a conference room or any number of applications requiring a microphone.

The Pure Resonance Audio MA30BT 7-channel Commercial Mixer Amplifier with built-in 70V/100V transformer technology provides a simple to operate and reliable 6-input solution with a built in Bluetooth media player for installation in commercial applications. Balanced and unbalanced inputs 70V, 100V, 8 ohm or 4-ohm outputs, and a compact size and interface are all combined to make this mixer-amp an easy choice for any application.
