The Pure Resonance Audio S5 is a 70V surface mount outdoor loudspeaker featuring a stylish and durable weather-resistant design. This all-weather loudspeaker is built to withstand the environmental demands of outdoor installations, delivering high-quality audio performance in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor commercial applications. A tough Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) housing with UV protection provides outstanding impact resistance. IP65 water-resistant rated, this commercial outdoor speaker is fully dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from a 0.25 inch (6.3 mm) nozzle and direct exposure to water such as rain from any direction. The S5 70-volt surface mount speaker is an ideal solution for patios, decks, poolside areas, and challenging indoor environments such as spas, indoor pools, shower rooms, clean rooms, and any location with high moisture or water exposure.

The Pure Resonance Audio S5 70-volt outdoor speaker produces superior sound quality from a resilient, long-lasting design. While handling 40 watts of continuous power, the S5 delivers a full-range frequency response of 90 - 16kHz and an average sensitivity of 92 dB SPL. The weather-resistant enclosure includes a 4.5" low-frequency polypropylene cone driver for strong low-end performance and a 0.75" high-frequency driver for excellent clarity. The polypropylene (PP) cone woofer offers low moisture absorption, UV resistance, and low distortion for consistent, stable performance in any environment. A rubber surround enhances durability and long-term reliability.

The S5 commercial outdoor surface-mount loudspeaker is ideal for foreground and background music, paging, and general-purpose audio in restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, boutiques, retail stores, fitness centers, classrooms, training rooms, conference rooms, and corporate AV applications. Designed for distributed audio systems, the S5 features a built-in 70V/100V transformer with selectable tap settings, an 8-ohm bypass, and a Phoenix Euroblock 4-pin screw terminal connector. Installation is fast and simple using the included 180-degree mounting bracket, making it easy to mount under awnings, overhangs, press boxes, and other surfaces.
