The DD-RN42 is a professional-grade 4x2 bi-directional Dante network interface in a clean white wall-mounted chassis, designed for demanding commercial and installation environments. It provides two XLR mic or line inputs on the front panel and two balanced line inputs on a detachable rear terminal block. These inputs are converted to Dante network channels with software-selectable gain, mic/line level, and optional 48V phantom power. The front-panel XLR outputs receive Dante audio from the network and convert it to balanced line-level signals, with software-controlled attenuators adjustable in 1 dB steps for precise level control.

Designed for networked audio systems, the DD-RN42 is fully configurable using RDL CONSOLE or other Dante-compatible software. A Q-SYS plug-in is also available for integration in Q-SYS environments. Front-panel LEDs indicate valid PoE power and network synchronization, while the high-resolution 24-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters ensure studio-quality audio with minimal noise. Legendary RDL analog filtering further enhances clarity and fidelity, making the DD-RN42 ideal for classrooms, conference rooms, or commercial AV installations.

The white Decora-style front plates provide a professional, clean appearance suitable for any environment.
