This Bose restaurant audio system includes 2 Bose EdgeMax™ EM180 in-ceiling premium loudspeakers with proprietary Bose PhaseGuide® technology to create room-filling coverage patterns typical of larger surface-mount speakers with the architect-preferred aesthetics of in-ceiling models. This system is perfect for small restaurants, bars, cafes, retail stores, hotels and other hospitality environments where installing speakers in the middle of the room is not an option. This commercial sound system also includes a Bose FreeSpace IZA 190-HZ integrated 1 zone amplifier, a Bose ControlCenter CC-2 zone volume controller and speaker wire.
For maximum coverage, the unique Bose EdgeMax™ speakers should be spaced approximately 30 feet apart and are ideal for ceilings up to 14 feet.
Bose EdgeMax™ Premium In-Ceiling Loudspeakers
The Bose EdgeMax™ EM180 in-ceiling premium loudspeakers feature proprietary Bose PhaseGuide® technology to create a category that combines the room-filling coverage patterns typical of larger surface-mount speakers with the architect-preferred aesthetics of in-ceiling models. Designed to mount near wall-ceiling boundaries, EdgeMax™ loudspeakers provide improved audio quality and coverage, while reducing the number of required units. Bose Professional EdgeMax™ Premium In-Ceiling Speakers are ideal for applications such as retail stores, restaurants, hospitality venues, hotels, offices, meeting rooms and architectural custom sound design applications. They feature magnetically attached white grilles for quick access to wiring, and 8Ω or 70/100V transformer tap settings, as well as auto-hold, spring-loaded mounting arms for fast and easy installations, and they ship with an accompanying tile bridge. They are UL1480 listed for air-handling plenum space code requirements.
Bose FreeSpace IZA 190-HZ Integrated Zone Amplifier
The Bose® FreeSpace® IZA 190-HZ integrated zone amplifier provides signal processing, routing, paging and amplification for a wide range of commercial applications such as retail stores, restaurants and bars, hospitality venues, conference rooms, schools and auxiliary zones. The integrated zone amplifier offers a variety of easy-to-use input connections (mic/line/page), input gain and output level adjustments, and operational modes. For background/foreground music and paging applications, the Bose® FreeSpace® IZA 190-HZ integrated one zone amplifier is designed to deliver premium sound, provide simplified set up and easy daily operation, and offer the flexibility to expand when more loudspeakers are required. The compact, lightweight design enables the FreeSpace integrated zone amplifier to be placed out of the way—on a table, desk, counter, shelf or in an equipment rack using the optional Rack Mount Kit accessory. Easy connectivity and expansion are possible for applications where a second set of output channels are required. An auxiliary line output is provided to share signals with an optional FreeSpace ZA 250-LZ or ZA 190-HZ.
