SoundTube LA808i-II White Low-Frequency Extension Speaker
The LA808i-II line array speaker in white is a specialized low-frequency directivity element engineered to enhance the performance of the LA880i-II 3-way line array system. Unlike a subwoofer, the LA808i-II is designed to extend and control low-frequency output, delivering greater clarity and precision in spaces where excessive reverberation can compromise sound quality. It is ideal for use in large or acoustically challenging environments such as auditoriums, houses of worship, and performance venues.
When paired with the LA880i-II, the LA808i-II extends low-frequency directivity by up to one octave lower, maintaining consistent coverage and tonal balance across the listening area. For best results, it must be installed directly above or below the LA880i-II array, and multiple LA808i-II units can be stacked to further improve low-end control and projection.
The white, paintable enclosure blends seamlessly with architectural interiors, featuring a rugged MDF and aluminum build with a powder-coated steel grille for long-lasting durability. Flexible mounting options, surface, pole, ceiling, or flown, make it adaptable to a wide range of installations. Euroblock and SpeakOn connectors simplify wiring and allow for easy daisy chaining, while included accessories like a safety cable and mounting hardware ensure a secure and professional setup.
