The VNET SC1 it can be linked via its RS232 connector to a laptop computer or other PC and controlled using VNET software to provide improved access to the configuration functionality via simple on-screen graphics. The two input and six output connections are via balanced XLR sockets.

Description

A powerful 2-in 6-out digital system controller, the VNET SC1 combines the functions of multiple conventional processing products into one compact 1U of rack space. Using DSP-based digital crossovers with 96 kHz sampling rates this versatile, feature packed unit will enable simple configuration and optimization of loudspeakers for superior audio quality within a fixed installation or touring situation.

This VNET SC1 features crossover, EQ, delay and limiting functions, and is also equipped with two network ports allowing connection to any networked system using any number and combination of the other products in the VNET™ range.

Set up of the unit is exceptionally simple thanks to the intuitive signal flow based interface, with programmed settings clearly displayed on the 2 x 16 character back light LCD. The function buttons and input level meters are also backlit; allowing ease of use even in subdued lighting conditions.

Each input on the network enabled VNET SC1 has gain control and 4 bands of parametric EQ with bands 1 and 4 offering settings for LF and HF shelving response. The unique routing engine will allow any input to be sent to any output. Butterworth, Bessel and Linkwitz Riley type filters are available on all outputs which can be configured as 2, 3 or 4-way crossovers. All output channels feature an independent speaker alignment delay (200 ms per channel) and a 4 band parametric EQ for speaker management. Four high performance limiters offer a wide range of control over Attack, Release and Threshold parameters.

The VNET SC1 it can be linked via its RS232 connector to a laptop computer or other PC and controlled using VNET™ software to provide improved access to the configuration functionality via simple on-screen graphics. The two input and six output connections are via balanced XLR sockets.
