The V-01S is a plug-in Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA) module designed to add convenient remote master volume control to TOA 900 Series and BG-2000 Series amplifiers. Installed directly into compatible amplifier chassis, it connects between the preamplifier and power amplifier stages, allowing precise volume adjustment through an external 0-10V DC control signal without affecting audio quality.
Designed for commercial audio installations, the V-01S features both RCA and 3-pin removable terminal block connections for flexible system integration. Its built-in 24V DC output supplies power to compatible external wall-mounted volume controllers, simplifying installation while reducing the need for additional power supplies. The module is also compatible with standard 10k potentiometer controls when used with the optional TOA U-21S interface.
With adjustable gain from -100 dB to 0 dB, the V-01S provides smooth, reliable remote volume management for paging and background music systems in offices, schools, hospitality venues, retail stores, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and other commercial environments where centralized or remote level control is required.
