The DHR15M is a 2-way bi-amp powered loudspeaker featuring a 15-inch woofer and a 1.75-inch HF driver in a space-saving coaxial configuration with a custom-designed constant directivity horn, making it ideal for use as a floor monitor. Combining a 1000W amplifier and high-performance DSP with the same plywood construction found on Yamaha's high-end DZR Series, the DHR15M delivers best-in-class sound quality and durability.
The coaxial driver provides precise, smooth phase and frequency response characteristics that are especially well-suited for monitoring applications. Its plywood cabinet delivers clear sound with minimal vibration, while the compact, low-profile enclosure is coated with polyurea for a robust, scratch-resistant finish. A built-in pole socket allows for stand mounting, and Yamaha’s proprietary FIR-X™ tuning offers FIR filtering and corrective EQ to minimize phase distortion.
