Yamaha DME5 64x64 Dante-Enabled DSP
The DME5 is a powerful open-architecture digital signal processor designed for professional AV applications requiring flexible system design, advanced signal processing, and seamless networked audio integration. Featuring a 64 x 64 Dante audio network interface operating at both 48 kHz and 96 kHz, the DME5 enables scalable audio routing and control for corporate, education, hospitality, worship, and large-scale commercial installations. Its flexible architecture allows system designers to create customized audio solutions tailored to specific project requirements without the limitations of fixed processing structures.
The DME5 provides 8 analog inputs, 4 analog outputs, and 4 channels of flexible I/O, along with 2x2 USB audio connectivity via USB Type-C. Powerful onboard processing includes Dugan Automixer, Acoustic Echo Canceller, Delay Matrix, and a comprehensive library of configurable DSP functions for optimizing speech intelligibility and overall system performance. Dual 16-pin GPI ports support external control integration, while TCP/IP, OSC, and External Event functionality enable communication and control of third-party devices across the network.
System configuration, deployment, and operation are streamlined through Yamaha's ProVisionaire software ecosystem, including ProVisionaire Design, ProVisionaire Control PLUS, and ProVisionaire Kiosk. The DME5 also supports advanced control programming through the Control Layer and MCP2, enabling customized logic and automation workflows. Combined with support for the Yamaha TCD10 touchscreen controller, the DME5 delivers a complete platform for sophisticated audio processing, monitoring, and control in modern AV environments.
