The ALX-16D-B Aimline digitally steerable powered column array loudspeaker is designed to deliver uncompromising speech intelligibility and precise sound coverage in the most acoustically challenging environments. Ideal for transportation hubs, large houses of worship, corporate atriums, and government facilities, the ALX-16D-B directs clear, focused audio exactly where it’s needed while minimizing reflections from hard surfaces that can reduce intelligibility.

Part of the AtlasIED ALX-D Series, the ALX-16D-B is built with sixteen high-performance 4" neodymium full-range drivers, each powered by its own dedicated Class-D amplifier and DSP channel. This architecture enables extremely granular vertical beam steering, adjustable acoustic center positioning across the column length, and split-beam capability for covering multiple zones from a single loudspeaker. With a wide 120° horizontal dispersion and digitally variable vertical coverage from 5° to 40°, the ALX-16D-B ensures consistent SPL and clarity across large, reverberant areas.

The onboard DSP offers FIR and IIR filtering, dynamic EQ, limiting, gain, and delay functions, as well as multi-beam configurations for complex acoustic challenges. Built-in Dante and AES67 network audio inputs - plus analog and AES/EBU options- eliminate the need for external network bridges or interfaces. The fully integrated control software allows real-time configuration, telemetry monitoring, and beam optimization, while interoperability with AtlasIED GLOBALCOM GCK ensures seamless integration into paging, background music, and emergency notification systems.

The ALX-16D-B's slim, black aluminum enclosure blends discreetly into both contemporary and traditional architecture. An optional IP64-rated version enables use in demanding outdoor environments. Backed by a 60-month warranty, the ALX-16D-B combines advanced beam-steering technology, networked connectivity, and elegant design for reliable, high-performance sound in the most demanding applications.
