The ALX-40D-B digitally steerable powered column array loudspeaker is engineered for maximum intelligibility and precise sound coverage in the most demanding acoustic environments. With forty 4" neodymium full-range drivers, each paired with its own Class-D amplifier and DSP channel, the ALX-40D-B provides ultra-fine vertical beam control, split-beam capability, and adjustable acoustic center positioning along the entire column length. Its 120° horizontal dispersion and digitally adjustable vertical coverage from 5° to 40° ensure consistent SPL and clarity throughout vast, reverberant spaces.

Advanced onboard DSP offers FIR/IIR filtering, EQ, limiting, gain, and delay functions, as well as multi-beam operation for complex coverage patterns. Built-in Dante and AES67 network audio inputs, along with analog and AES/EBU connections, eliminate the need for external interfaces. Integrated control software enables real-time configuration, telemetry, and beam optimization, while GLOBALCOM GCK compatibility provides seamless integration for paging, background music, and emergency notifications.

The ALX-40D-B features a slim, black aluminum enclosure that blends into any architectural setting, with an optional IP64-rated weather-resistant version available for outdoor use.
