The ALX-40D-W digitally steerable powered column array loudspeaker is designed for maximum speech intelligibility and precise sound coverage in the most acoustically demanding environments. Ideal for transportation hubs, large houses of worship, expansive atriums, and architecturally sensitive public spaces, it delivers targeted audio where it's needed while minimizing unwanted reflections from surrounding surfaces.

Featuring forty 4" neodymium full-range drivers, each with its own Class-D amplifier and DSP channel, the ALX-40D-W provides ultra-fine vertical beam control, adjustable acoustic center positioning, and independent split-beam capability for highly customized coverage. With a wide 120° horizontal dispersion and digitally adjustable vertical coverage from 5° to 40°, it ensures even sound distribution and clarity throughout vast, reverberant spaces.

Its advanced onboard DSP includes FIR/IIR filtering, EQ, limiting, gain, and delay functions, plus multi-beam operation for complex venue requirements. Built-in Dante and AES67 network audio inputs, along with analog and AES/EBU options, eliminate the need for external interfaces. Integrated control software enables real-time configuration, telemetry, and beam optimization, while GLOBALCOM GCK compatibility allows seamless integration for paging, background music, and emergency announcements.

Housed in a slim, white aluminum enclosure that blends effortlessly into any environment, the ALX-40D-W is also available in an IP64-rated weather-resistant version for outdoor use.
