On this week’s episode of Pro Acoustics Tech Talk, Nathan sits down with Ron Grant from Bosch Communications to talk about the all-new Dynacord C-Series amplifiers. These new entry-level, high-performance amplifiers are great for churches, performance halls, football stadiums, basketball arenas, and more. All models feature built-in DSP and range from 650 watts to 1800 watts. 

Hey everybody, Nathan with Pro Acoustics here over at our Salado, Texas, headquarters with Ron Grant from Bosch Communications. He brought by some new toys to show us. What do we have here, Ron?

Okay.

What do we have here, Ron? Well, I brought by the new C-Series amplifiers from Dynacord. New entry-level, high-performance amplifiers for speakers, EV speakers, you know, installs, churches, performance hall, high school football, basketball arena. 

Cool. Cool. We've got a DSP built-in and all these models?

Yeah, we see that kind of popping around right here. It's pretty, especially for an entry-level amplifier, has great DSP and can even do monitoring and supervision. 

Awesome. Awesome. So, we've got a few different models available ranging from…

Four different models ranging from 650 watts at 4 ohms a channel to 1800 watts at 4 ohms per channel. 

Nice. Nice. Built-in 70-volt? 

Yes. Can do 70-volt. The amps are stable down to two ohms. So, it can easily run a 70-volt line.  On the two lower-level amps, you would need to bridge the two higher amps. They can run, each channel could run 70 volts or four ohms per chain. 

Cool. And inside of the DSP, do we have some presets built for Electro-Voice speakers, part of the Bosch family? 

Absolutely. We do. Dynacord being part of EV, they have a full library. Everything from our new EVC install speakers all the way up to our current line arrays, stored into the memory that you can pull up presets and we can even, you can even store or create and store speaker presets.
