The JBL Control 426C/T-LS is a two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker, featuring a 6.5” woofer and integrated enclosure that is ideal for installation in most ceiling plenum spaces. Certified to the UL1480 Standard, the Control 426C/T-LS is suitable for life safety applications. Integrated CRBI™ technology provides 110° of consistent, full, rich sound to the listening area. A full-face magnetic grille blends seamlessly with modern decors and optional black and square grilles are available. Mechanical improvements include redesigned terminal covers with top and side cable entry ports and an extremely reliable new dogear design that works with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The JBL Control 426C/T-LS includes a transformer to support both 70V/100V and low impedance applications.

Full-face magnetic grilles provide a sleek, refined look to meet the sensibilities of modern architectural design. They are equipped with safety tethers, which mount right into the baffle to ensure peace of mind. Optional black and square accessory grilles are also available to empower added design versatility.

Superior Sonic Performance

The Coplanar RBI™, or CRBI™ delivers an especially smooth sound character that remains consistent, clear, and pleasant across a wide coverage area. It reduces on-axis hot spots and off-axis cold spots and improves the listening experience for users as they move throughout a space. This enhanced coverage results in fewer speakers, amplifier channels, and project costs, required to cover a space.

Efficient, Flexible Installation

Various Control 400 Enhanced Coverage Series mounting enhancements improve installation repeatability and safety while reducing installation time. Redesigned terminal covers provide both top and side cable entry ports and can be secured without tools thanks to captive hand-screws. The captive dogear design is extremely reliable and works with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses.
