The Pure Resonance Audio C5 4" micro full-range commercial ceiling speaker features a compact, recessed design that seamlessly blends into any drop tile ceiling. The C5 achieves a smaller footprint while maintaining a robust, high-quality sound with excellent dispersion. Featuring a built-in 70-volt / 100-volt multi-tap transformer switch with a selectable 8-ohm bypass and a 4-pin Euroblock screw terminal connector, the C5 is ideal for commercial environments. This 70V in-ceiling speaker provides superior background and foreground music, paging, announcements, and sound masking in offices, retail stores, restaurants, hospitality venues, hotels, classrooms, conference rooms, lounges, foyers, reception areas, waiting rooms, and a wide range of other business applications.
The C5's micro enclosure contains a 4" paper cone driver with a butyl rubber surround, intelligently engineered for quality performance, long-lasting durability, and consistent reliability. This commercial ceiling speaker boasts a 91dB sound pressure level (SPL) sensitivity, a 90Hz - 20kHz frequency response, and a 10-watt power handling capability. The C5 maintains a 120° x 120° coverage of robust audio with superb vocal intelligibility and full-range music reproduction.
The C5's Easy-Mounting threaded screw-on ring ensures quick, secure, and clean installation in drop tile ceilings. Simply remove the ceiling tile, measure and cut your hole, insert the C5, place the threaded mounting ring on the back and rotate until tight. Then, connect the speaker wire, select the desired tap setting, and you're done. The C5-TB tile bridge can be used for additional support (sold separately).
The Pure Resonance Audio C5 is designed with multiple mounting options that provide incredible versatility. This 70V ceiling mount speaker can be installed in traditional drop tile ceilings with the included Easy-Mounting ring or in drywall with the optional C5-DM drywall mounting ring. The C5 can also adapt for open ceiling applications with the C5-PK pendant mounting kit.
