SoundTube LA808i-II Black Low-Frequency Extension Speaker

The LA808i-II line array speaker in black is a precision-engineered low-frequency directivity element designed to work exclusively with the LA880i-II 3-way line array system. Unlike a subwoofer, the LA808i-II is crafted to extend and focus the low-frequency response, improving clarity and intelligibility in reverberant or acoustically complex spaces such as churches, auditoriums, and conference halls.

When paired with the LA880i-II, the LA808i-II increases low-frequency directivity by up to one octave lower than the LA880i-II alone. For optimal performance, it must be positioned directly above or below the LA880i-II array, and additional LA808i-II modules can be added to further enhance low-end control and projection.

The black, paintable MDF and aluminum enclosure with a powder-coated steel grille ensures durability and aesthetic flexibility. With versatile mounting options, including surface, pole, ceiling, or flown installations, the LA808i-II adapts to a wide variety of commercial environments. It features Euroblock and SpeakOn connectors for fast setup and daisy chaining, and comes with a safety cable, Euroblock connector, and mounting hardware for easy installation.
