The IR A4 is a distributed IR emitter array designed for use within Williams AV IR+ systems. It allows up to four IR E4 emitters to be connected per array, providing scalable infrared coverage for complex venue environments. The architecture supports both stacked configurations for large-room applications and distributed layouts for areas with architectural challenges.
The IR A4 is designed to work exclusively with an IR M1 modulator and IR E4 emitters. Multiple IR A4 arrays can be deployed to expand system capacity, enabling connection of up to 16 IR E4 emitters per IR M1 output port when properly configured. This makes it ideal for auditoriums, conference centers, and multi-level or obstructed seating areas.
The system is not a standalone unit and requires an IR M1 modulator and IR E4 emitters to operate. Its flexible installation options allow integrators to adapt infrared coverage precisely to room design requirements, ensuring consistent and reliable signal distribution.
