Inside the Design
This multi-zone restaurant sound system is designed for restaurant dining areas, bars, patios, outdoor seating, and other hospitality spaces requiring distributed 70V audio with flexible, independent zone control. This system includes six Pure Resonance Audio PD6 6.5" 2-way pendant speakers for open-ceiling areas, four S8.1 8" premium 70V surface-mount speakers, and four S6 6.5" 70V surface-mount speakers for indoor and outdoor coverage. The combination of pendant and surface-mount speakers allows this system to provide distributed audio across different areas of a restaurant while accommodating both indoor and outdoor listening spaces.
At the core of this 3-zone restaurant sound system is the Pure Resonance Audio DZMA8125 8-channel digital mixer amplifier, providing centralized amplification, DSP processing, audio routing, and zone management for the connected speakers. The 8-channel design allows audio to be distributed and managed across multiple areas, while the digital processing provides control over the system's audio configuration. Three DZC digital zone controllers provide convenient local volume control for individual audio zones, allowing staff to adjust audio levels in different areas without accessing the main equipment.
The AtlasIED WTSD-MIX31K wall mixer provides convenient local access to microphone, line, AUX, and Bluetooth audio sources, making it easy to connect and select audio from a wall-mounted location. The NETGEAR GS108LP PoE+ network switch supplies network connectivity and power for the digital zone controllers. This system also includes an all-weather security cover for the wall mixer and the required network, audio, and 70V speaker cabling for installation.

The Pure Resonance Audio S8.1 is an 8 inch premium 70V surface-mount speaker designed for high-quality audio in demanding indoor and outdoor applications. Its larger driver provides extended low-frequency response and higher output for areas that require fuller music reproduction. The weather-resistant construction makes the S8.1 suitable for restaurant patios, outdoor dining areas, entrances, bars, and other locations where speakers may be exposed to the elements. Within this system, four S8.1 speakers provide additional full-range coverage beyond the pendant speakers.

The Pure Resonance Audio S6 is a 6.5 inch 70V surface-mount speaker designed to provide full-range audio in indoor and outdoor commercial applications. Its compact enclosure allows flexible mounting throughout restaurant dining areas, patios, walkways, entrances, and other hospitality spaces. The S6 is designed for weather-resistant installations and supports multiple 70V transformer tap settings for flexible distributed audio configuration. Four S6 speakers provide additional coverage throughout this multi-zone restaurant sound system.
Pure Resonance Audio DZMA8125 8-Channel Digital Mixer Amplifier
The Pure Resonance Audio DZMA8125 is an 8-channel digital mixer amplifier that serves as the central amplification and processing platform for this multi-zone restaurant sound system. It provides 1,000 watts of total power with eight 125-watt channels or four 250-watt channels, along with digital signal processing and flexible audio routing. The 70V/100V outputs allow the distributed speakers to be configured for commercial background music and other distributed audio applications. The DZMA8125 provides the centralized processing and amplification needed to manage multiple areas of a restaurant from a single platform.
AtlasIED WTSD-MIX31K Indoor Outdoor 3x1 Analog Wall Mixer
The AtlasIED WTSD-MIX31K is a 3x1 wall-mounted mixer designed for convenient audio source connectivity in commercial installations. This mixer provides Bluetooth, AUX, and microphone/line input options, allowing restaurant staff to connect wireless music sources, local audio devices, or wired microphones. AtlasIED WTSD-COVER All-Weather Security Cover
The AtlasIED WTSD-COVER is an all-weather security cover designed to protect compatible AtlasIED wall-mounted equipment from environmental exposure and unauthorized access. The locking cover includes keys and provides additional protection when the WTSD-MIX31K is installed in an outdoor or publicly accessible location. This makes the cover well suited for restaurant patios, outdoor dining areas, and other installations where the wall mixer requires additional protection.
Pure Resonance Audio DZC Digital Zone Controllers
The Pure Resonance Audio DZC is a digital zone controller designed to provide convenient local control of audio zones within this multi-zone restaurant sound system. Three DZC controllers allow individual areas of the restaurant to have dedicated zone control, making it possible to adjust audio levels without requiring access to the central equipment. The DZC connects through the system network and uses Power over Ethernet for convenient installation and operation.
NETGEAR GS108LP 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch with PoE+
The NETGEAR GS108LP is an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with Power over Ethernet Plus capability. Within this system, the switch provides the network connectivity required for the DZC digital zone controllers while also supplying PoE power to compatible devices. Its eight Gigabit Ethernet ports provide additional capacity for network-connected audio equipment and other compatible devices.
