SoundTube IPD-CM82-BGM-II 8-Inch IP-Addressable Dante-Enabled In-Ceiling Speaker

The IPD-CM82-BGM-II is an 8" coaxial in-ceiling speaker designed for IP-addressable audio networks using Dante and AES67 protocols. It features an 8" polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 1" silk dome tweeter, delivering consistent mid-range clarity and broad high-frequency coverage via BroadBeam Ring technology. Housed in a sealed steel backcan with a tuned port, it provides bass response down to 55 Hz (±10 dB) for full, rich sound.

Power, audio, and control are delivered through a single CAT5 or CAT6 cable using PoE (Power over Ethernet). Each speaker can be monitored and zoned via SoundTube software, with real-time status reporting for reliable operation. Installation is quick and secure using the SpeedWing mounting system and color-coded tile bridge for drywall or drop-tile ceilings.

This model features a paintable white steel grille for a clean, professional appearance, and optional pre-construction brackets are available for new construction. It is UL 60065 and UL 2043 listed, making it ideal for commercial, retail, hospitality, and distributed audio applications requiring professional-quality IP-addressable audio.
