SoundTube CM82-BGM-II 8-Inch In-Ceiling Speaker

The CM82-BGM-II is an 8" coaxial two-way blind-mount in-ceiling speaker that delivers exceptional sound performance and installation flexibility. Featuring an 8" polypropylene woofer with a butyl rubber surround and a 1" silk dome tweeter housed in a drawn steel backcan with a tuned port, this speaker achieves a wide frequency response of 45 Hz - 22 kHz (±10 dB). BroadBeam Ring technology ensures mid-range clarity and smooth off-axis coverage for consistent, full-bodied sound in any environment.

Engineered for quick and secure installation, the CM82-BGM-II includes a constant-tension fixed-wing mounting system and a 21-gauge steel tile bridge, ideal for drop-tile and sheetrock ceilings. A six-position tap switch allows easy selection for 25, 70.7, or 100V systems, or transformer bypass, making setup straightforward for a variety of audio configurations. With 85 dB sensitivity and 16Ω impedance, it offers excellent efficiency and reduced amplification costs.

The CM82-BGM-II is shipped in white with a black magnetic grille included, giving installers the freedom to match either light or dark interior aesthetics. The powder-coated steel grille provides long-lasting durability and a seamless, professional look. UL1480 and UL2043 certifications ensure safety and reliability, making this model ideal for commercial, hospitality, and residential applications requiring both premium sound and versatile design options.
