JBL Control 442C/T 2.5-Inch Full-Range Compact Satellite Ceiling Loudspeakers
The Control 442C/T is an ultra-compact pair of 2.5" full-range satellite ceiling loudspeakers designed for professional distributed audio systems. With a 60 mm (2.5") mid/high driver featuring a polypropylene cone and pure butyl rubber surround, it delivers clear, accurate sound with low distortion. Its extremely wide 160° coverage ensures consistent audio performance across the listening area, making it ideal for restaurants, retail spaces, offices, hotels, and educational facilities.
When paired with the Control 440CS/T in-ceiling subwoofer, the 442C/T forms a high-performance subwoofer-satellite system, providing full-range, wide-bandwidth sound while maintaining minimal visual impact. It must be operated with either the subwoofer's built-in passive crossover or an active high-pass filter to protect the speaker from low-frequency damage, ensuring long-term reliability and optimal audio performance.
The sleek bezel-less magnetic grille and integrated backcan allow the speaker to blend seamlessly into any ceiling design. The package includes a grille, integral backcan, and C-ring for quick, professional installation. Optional grilles are available in black (JBL-MTC-442BG) or square white (JBL-MTC-442SG). UL 1480A and UL 2043 certifications guarantee compliance with commercial building safety standards, making the Control 442C/T a versatile, high-quality solution for compact satellite ceiling applications.
