The Control 447C/T is a high-performance 6.5" 2-way coaxial in-ceiling loudspeaker sold as a pair, designed for professional installations requiring exceptional clarity, wide frequency response, and highly consistent coverage. Part of JBL's Control 400 Premium Coverage Series, the 447C/T features Radiation Boundary Integrator (RBI) technology, which seamlessly integrates the coaxial woofer and tweeter outputs for smooth, uniform dispersion. This ensures consistent sound throughout the listening area while reducing the number of speakers required for full coverage.

Equipped with a 165 mm (6.5") treated paper woofer and a 25 mm (1") soft-dome tweeter, each speaker delivers warm, full-bodied bass and crisp, detailed highs. The high-efficiency copper-clad aluminum voice coils and neodymium magnet assembly provide low distortion, high sensitivity, and enhanced power handling. The 447C/T pair supports both 8Ω direct operation and 70V/100V distributed systems via a 60W multi-tap transformer, engineered for low saturation and low distortion performance.

The bezel-less magnetic grilles blend seamlessly into modern ceilings, and the integrated backcans, C-rings, and paintable grilles simplify installation and customization. For applications requiring extended low-frequency performance, the 447C/T pair pairs perfectly with the Control 440CS/T subwoofer. UL 1480A and UL 2043 listings ensure the speakers meet commercial safety standards, making them a reliable solution for retail, hospitality, educational, and corporate audio systems.
